Warranty Policy

Your Fluff Daddy is a tough cookie, built to last you a lifetime! But, just to cover our bases, here are the nitty-gritty details in case of a fluff-tastrophe.

Warranty Period

  1. The Australian Consumer Law provides certain guarantees to consumers when they purchase goods and these guarantees cannot be excluded, restricted or modified. These consumer guarantees are different to, and separate from, this warranty, which is given voluntarily by Fluff Daddy 'the Warrantor'. The time limit of consumer guarantees varies depending on the price and quality of the goods and may extend beyond this warranty or any applicable warranty provided by the manufacturer of the goods.
  2. Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
  3. This warranty applies in addition to other rights and remedies you may have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law.
  4. Subject to the terms and conditions of this warranty, where your goods are defective within 12 months of your purchase, the Warrantor agrees to repair the goods, provide you with a replacement or provide you with store credit or a refund for the full amount of the purchase price (in the event that it is not possible to repair the goods or a replacement is unavailable).
  5. The applicable warranty period, 12 months commences on the date that the product is delivered to your nominated delivery address. Where no proof of delivery is available, the applicable warranty period will commence 7 days from the date the goods are dispatched to you.
  6. Where goods are damaged or defective upon delivery, you must provide photographic evidence of the damage, within 7 days, before receiving a repair, replacement or refund.
  7. We cannot accept returns that have not been authorised through the process outlined in these terms and conditions.
  8. If any returned goods are found to be in good working order, we may seek reimbursement, at our discretion, for any costs incurred by us in relation to such goods. In such cases, you agree that we may hold your goods until such payment is received.

Frames

Each Fluff Daddy frame is warranted against failure due to a manufacturing fault for a period of 2 years from the date of purchase or otherwise in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law.

Components

Other components including, fabrics, foam, feather and fiber fillings, suspension, springs, mechanisms including foot rest mechanisms, zippers, and legs are warranted against failure due to a manufacturing defect for a period of 12 months or otherwise in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law.

Other Goods

All other goods not specifically listed above are warranted against failure due to a manufacturing defect for a period of 12 months or otherwise in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.

General Warranty Exclusions

Warranty does not apply for:

  1. Fair wear and tear, neglect, abuse or misuse of your Goods.
  2. Loss or damage (including rusting and corrosion) due to exposure to water or weather.
  3. Loss or damage due to fire, smoke, explosion, lightning, sunlight, infestation by animals or boring insects, or theft, or accidental damage or loss caused by a third party.
  4. Any products sold as, floor stock, repaired products or products that have a defect where this has been drawn to your attention before you purchased the products.
  5. Instances where the product is tampered with in any way.
  6. Instances where the customer uses the product in an abnormal manner (for example, if the product is abused, misused, dropped, crushed, impacted with any hard surface), exposed to extreme heat (including fire) or cold, UV and sunlight damage, water, humidity, mould or chemical damage, or not well maintained.
  7. Instances when the Product has been used in commercial environments or in a manner or for a purpose which is greater than, or exceptional to normal domestic residential use.

Freight, house calls, labour and other items are charged to the purchaser at standard rates and are not included in this warranty. Covering components replaced under this warranty may vary in colour and texture to the original.

Repair & Replacement

Any repair or replacement under this warranty is limited to the defective part only. Fluff Daddy reserves the right to determine whether a part has failed due to a defect or wear and tear and whether a component should be repaired or replaced.
